Back-to-School Hub

For St. Mary's students, school starts at 7:45. Students can arrive at 6:30 if they are signed up in advance for EduCare. Hallway supervision is provided beginning at 7:00 for Preschool and 4K students. All students can receive a free breakfast which will be served from 7:45-8:15.

For St. Luke's students, school starts at 7:45 and ends at 2:10. Students can arrive as early as 7:00. All students can receive a free breakfast in the school cafeteria between 7:00-7:30. The only exception to this timeframe will be students who arrive after 7:30 on a school bus. It is recommended that students arriving by parent transportation arrive before 7:20 to allow enough time to eat and to get to class on time for the 7:45 start of school.  Aftercare will be available from 2:10-5:30 for students in Kindergarten-Grade 6 on all days that school is in session. The program will consist of snack, homework time, indoor and outdoor play and opportunities to work on art and craft projects.

After-school programming will be offered at various times throughout the year. Watch the Rambler News (parent newsletter) for those offerings. Aftercare cost is $5.30 per hour or $75 per week (billed in 30-minute increments). Students who are waiting for practice, an after-school activity or a ride must attend aftercare. For the safety of the students, we do not want unsupervised students.

The school day for students in Grades 7-12 is 8:45-3:15. 

• St. Joseph Hall will open at 7:15.
• St. Teresa Hall will open at 8:30 with the exception of students who have a pre-arranged meeting or class with a teacher. Students will be allowed to move to their lockers in St. Teresa Hall at 8:30, and Door A will open at this time as well.

Junior High students who arrive early to school can gather in one of three locations:

• The ARC or WNB Lounge (in St. Joseph Hall) for quiet study and group work (7:15-8:30)
• The cafeteria (in St. Joseph Hall) for breakfast and social gatherings (7:30- 8:30)
• The gym in (in John Nett Rec) for sports and activities (7:15- 8:30)

After school, students should report to the ARC or WNB lounge in St. Joseph Hall if they are working on homework or waiting for a ride.  Students must be out of St. Teresa and St. Joseph hallways by 3:30, unless they have a meeting with a teacher. Students who are waiting for a practice to begin should gather in the area outside of the JNR concession stand.
